Scenario 1: User Management via Active Directory

If your user management is configured via the directory service (Active Directory), the same password is used as for Windows login.

Tip: If corporate login is configured, you can use the corresponding button on the login screen.
Important: If login is not possible, contact your company's IT department.

Scenario 2: User Management in Q.wiki

Reset Your Password

  1. On the login screen, select Forgot password.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.

If your entry matches an account in Q.wiki, an email will be sent to you. Check your spam folder if needed.

Activate Link and Create New Password

  1. Open the email and click the Create new password link.
  2. The link is valid for 30 minutes.

Password Requirements

Your new password must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 12 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character

After successfully setting your new password, you will be logged in directly.

Confirmation and Link Reuse

You will then receive a confirmation email in your email inbox.

Good to know: The link cannot be reused after the password has been successfully changed. A new attempt will show an appropriate message.
