Individual modules with their configuration have both a production version and a draft version, similar to processes. These two versions allow you to develop changes without immediately affecting all users.
Overview
- Production version: The currently active version of the module that all users see and use. It contains the most recently applied configuration properties.
- Draft version: A working copy of the production version where you develop planned changes without affecting the live version.
Production Version
The production version is the live version of the module. All users work with this version and see the current configuration settings. Any changes you apply from the draft version become active here.
Draft Version
The draft version is automatically created as a copy of the production version when you open the module configuration. You can make adjustments here without those changes being immediately visible to other users.
Save and apply your draft
- You can save your changes at any time and continue later.
- When you're satisfied with your changes, apply them to the module – then they become active.
- The draft version is retained until you apply or reset it.
Reset the draft version
If you want to discard all changes, you can reset the draft version. This will delete all modifications since the module was last updated, and a new, empty draft version will be created.
