A page in Q.wiki always has the same structure and contains several essential elements. This article provides an overview of the different sections of a Q.wiki page.

Page header
The page header contains important information about the page. It includes the following elements:
- Page name: Can be changed in the metadata.
- Status: The status of the page is colour-coded.
- Approved: Green
- Draft & proposed changes: Yellow
- Page type: Indicates the type of page. Can be changed in the metadata.
- Area of application: Can be changed in the metadata.
- Last author: The name of the last active author is automatically stored by the system.
- Person responsible for content: The person who bears responsibility can be changed in the metadata.
- Approved by: Shows which persons were involved in the approval process (standard 2-step approval workflow = 2 persons).
- Release date: The date on which the page was approved is automatically stored by the system.
- Version: Each time a page is approved, the version number is automatically incremented by one.
Page Content
In the main section of the page, you will find the content in tabular form, covering the specific topic or information provided by the page, with responsibilities/roles and documents you need to perform the task.

Metadata area
This area is located at the very bottom of the page, below the content area, in the form of a table. If you want to change the metadata, click on edit (or suggest change and edit) and scroll all the way down. Detailed information about metadata can be found here:Use, create and modify metadata
