The Module Generator's task management feature lets you define context-specific task types – beyond the standard settings available for all content blocks like content block name and content block description.
Defining task types
While the Protocol module distinguishes between tasks, information, and decisions by default, you can define entirely different types for your module. Use the input field to add new types.
The first task type serves as the preset for new tasks and cannot be removed. However, you can:
- Change the order of types using drag and drop
- Adjust the default setting in the Workflow Generator
Multiple task blocks per module
A module can contain multiple task blocks. This enables you to group tasks thematically or chronologically – for example, for the steps of an 8D failure analysis protocol.
Pre-defined content in task blocks
In the configuration, you cannot pre-define content for a task block. Instead, use the template function to equip task blocks with standardized content.
