With the new left-hand navigation bar, Q.wiki consolidates all navigation features in one place. This frees up more space in the centre of the screen for the actual content.

What has changed?
Features that were previously spread across the screen are now grouped in the navigation bar. The following overview shows the key changes (the colours refer to the image below):

| Area (colour) | Change |
|---|---|
| Red | More space for page content thanks to the more compact navigation. |
| Black | Personal settings and system tools have moved from the top right to the bottom of the navigation bar. |
| Purple | The Q.wikinger and the help area are now integrated into the navigation bar and no longer cover any content. |
| Blue | Notifications and tasks have moved from the top right to the top of the navigation bar so you can work through them more quickly. |
| Orange | Module groups remain but can now be collapsed – because the new favourites feature lets you pin your most important modules at the top. |
| Green | New features: Users can pin favourites prominently in the navigation bar. Key Users can also set up external links in the navigation bar. |
