The conversion of old flowcharts into new BPMN flowcharts can be started in edit mode by double-clicking on an old flowchart. In the following, we will give you a few tips on how to optimize the automatic result with just a few simple steps.
- Arrows and their lines can sometimes overlap due to technical limitations. However, you can quickly improve the arrow display by moving individual symbols or clicking and dragging the lines apart.
- This conversion does not automatically delete the old flow chart. Once you are happy with the new flowchart, please delete the old flowchart manually.
- Links are migrated automatically, but due to technical limitations they are always included in the new flowchart as "External link". We recommend reconfiguring links to other Q.wiki content as "internal links" so that, for example, the current page title can be displayed.
- From now on, only one flowchart can exist per page.
- If a BPMN flowchart already exists, this flowchart will be overwritten during the conversion.
- If you still require several flowcharts per page, this is no longer possible and we recommend splitting the page into several pages or displaying both languages within one symbol in the case of multilingualism.
- Please note that you can copy old flowcharts from the old page to a new page in order to start a conversion there. This means you do not have to completely rebuild a flowchart.
- Don't forget to clean up any notes on inserting flowcharts into the template.
