User profiles in Q.wiki are maintained centrally with data from your Active Directory (AD). You cannot edit them manually – they are synchronized automatically.
Overview
User profiles contain the following information (where available in your AD):
- Name
- Department
- Email address
- Phone number
This data is displayed automatically when it exists in your AD (LDAP or Azure). You can synchronize additional attributes – see Synchronize additional attributes for profiles.
Customize your own profile
Click the My Profile button in the top right. You'll find the following sections there:
Personal Information
Here you can edit your personal data. Click the pencil icon to modify the fields.
Roles
This shows all the roles you hold as owner or deputy owner.
Profile Photo
You can upload a photo here that will be displayed next to your name in Q.wiki.
Find colleagues in the directory
Click View User Profiles in your profile. You'll see a list of your colleagues with the following information:
- Name and department
- Email address and phone number
- Assigned roles
This allows you to quickly find contact details and responsibilities for your colleagues.
