App Generator: Productive vs. processing status

Modified on Fri, 22 Sep 2023 at 03:59 PM

Equivalent to the Processes web, individual applications with their underlying configuration have a productive and an editing state.

  • The productive state is actively used by the users of the application. It contains the last updated configuration properties.
  • The editing state is created as a copy of the productive state as soon as the configuration of an application is opened. In the editing state, the configuration is modified for future adaptation of the application.
    • The editing state is kept until the configuration is applied to the application or reset.
      • When resetting, all changes made to the editing state since the application was last updated are lost and a new editing state is created.
    • Editing can be saved temporarily at any time and continued later.

The modifications made in the editing state can be applied to the application at any time.
