Tip: With the glossary, you can define terms and abbreviations that are automatically underlined in your Q.wiki pages and accompanied by explanations.

Create a new glossary entry

  1. Click the Add new glossary entry button. A new page will open. 'Add new glossary entry' button
  2. Define the keywords for which the explanation should appear later. Consider different spellings and variations (e.g., DNS, Domain Name System, nameserver). Confirm each keyword by pressing Enter.
  3. Enter the desired term explanation or the full form (for abbreviations) in the editor.
  4. Save the glossary entry. From now on, the defined keywords will be underlined in your pages. When you hover your mouse over the term, a pop-up window with the explanation appears. Glossary entry with pop-up window on mouse hover
