The history function in Q.wiki is divided into two categories:
Content history
The content history shows all changes to the content of a page. It enables revisions to be compared and old content to be restored.
In detail, the content history offers the following functions:
- Comparison of revisions: Changes to content can be compared with each other.
- Restoring old content: An explicit state of the page can be restored.
A distinction is made between two types of history entries:
Approved status: All versions of the page are displayed, including the option to compare and restore older versions.
All versions: Displays all revisions that have been made since a page was created.
Detailed instructions on how to restore a page are described in the following article:
Event history
The event history provides an overview of events that have taken place on a page over time, including:
- Release of a new version
- Changes to the parent page
- Confirmation of up-to-dateness
- Activation or deactivation of the workflow
