Create E-Mail template

With an email template, you can open predefined emails directly from Q.wiki – with pre-filled recipient address, subject line, and message body.

Prerequisites

You are in the editor of a Q.wiki page
You want to insert text as an email link

Step-by-step

Insert email link

Select the text that should be displayed as an email link.
Click the Links button in the editor toolbar.
Select the link type Email.

Configure email template

Enter the email address of the recipient. You can also add a CC address.
If the recipient is not yet known, use a placeholder address (e.g., recipient@example.com).
Fill in the subject line.
Write the message body.
Confirm with OK.

Result

After you save the page, clicking the link opens the email template in your default email program – with all predefined information filled in.

Important: If the email template does not open in the expected program, contact your internal IT department. This is often a configuration issue with your system or browser.
