In the timeline of the approval workflow, status changes and intermediate states of the element are displayed chronologically.
Opening a Historical State View
Click on the first line of an entry in the timeline. The element opens in a new tab showing the historical state.
What Happens Behind the Scenes?
Important: A complete copy of the module is created in the background with the configuration state at the selected point in time. The form, workflow, and page header correspond to the state at the time of the transition. Your view and permissions may therefore differ from the current state. This ensures full traceability of all changes, even across module configuration changes.
After Reviewing the History
After reviewing the historical state, you can close the tab. The module copy generated in the background is automatically deleted.
