Note: The candidates module presented in this article is created based on the default module template of the module generator. The module created with the module generator can be customized to meet individual requirements. This guide describes the basic functions of the default module template.
Aim of the module
The candidates module supports to organize new candidates from initial contact to hiring.
Procedure
First, after receiving a new candidate, the candidate is created in the module overview. When creating, a template per department can help, in which, for example, the managers are already entered. Regardless of whether you work with or without a template, the module information is entered next.
After creation, the candidates go through the following statuses:
- New candidate
- Module pool
- Module for preliminary interview
- Module to assessment center
- Hiring employees
- Hired employees
- Rejection
When a candidate reaches the next status, the HR department, as well as the responsible manager, are informed. Particularly important are the hiring tasks that are initiated in parallel with the job module. Here, for example, the provision of a work laptop, the office key or similar can be organized.
After passing through the statuses, the new employee can successfully start his first working day.
Module Element
A single candidate is divided into the following six elements:
- Module Information
- First internal assessment
- Candidate documents
- Familiarization
- Recruitment tasks
Under module information, you will find all important personal data of a candidate.
In the first internal evaluation, two managers as well as the HR department can record your first impression according to a point scheme with comments.
In the element candidate documents, the submitted documents can be attached.
In the element familiarization, the first working day, the responsible contact person (mentor), as well as processes that help with the familiarization are recorded.
In the hiring tasks, things such as providing work materials are scheduled and assigned so that the module has his or her work materials available on the first day.
Rights management
The Roles tab of the configuration defines which users or groups are assigned to the Staff, Management, and Executive roles. These role owners are authorized to view candidates and move module to the next status.
Possible customizations
In the candidates module, once roles have been assigned by a key user, no mandatory customizations are required. Additional information is added via the module configuration with additional fields.
